The Bulb-Tite rivet body separates to form three legs to form a large blind-side head. This bearing head uniformly distributes the high clamp force of the Bulb-Tite in thin or soft materials providing high pull-through resistance. Our Bulb-Tites are designed with a wide grip range to enable its efficiency in a greater variety of thicknesses. To provide greater shear strength, some of our Bulb-Tites also have a special flush break mandrel.
